SauveBio Featured in Worcester Business Journal: Reflections on Our SPARK Journey

This spring, SauveBio had the opportunity to participate in the SPARK program, an eight-week initiative hosted by Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives (MBI). Designed to support early-stage biotech companies, SPARK connects entrepreneurs with seasoned mentors to help refine business strategies and navigate common challenges.

As one of three startups graduating from the latest SPARK cohort, alongside Eascra Biotech and 100X Bio, we spent eight weeks focusing on marketing and outreach development. For us, the timing couldn’t have been better: through SPARK, we sharpened our communication strategy and connected with our first major client, a meaningful milestone for our growing flow cytometry CRO based in Worcester.

We’re honored that the Worcester Business Journal included SauveBio in its recent feature spotlighting the graduating cohort. The article also highlights the impressive work of:

– Eascra Biotech, which is developing precision therapies for challenging tissue targets using Janus-base nanoparticles.
– 100X Bio, an immunotherapy startup working to extract vastly more data from limited T-cell samples for cancer research.

SauveBio is proud to be part of this local network of innovators, and we’re grateful to MBI’s mentors, leadership, and fellow founders for their support. Our co-founders Hannah Sheehan and Jeff Sauve started SauveBio with a clear goal: to offer cutting-edge flow cytometry solutions that empower researchers and drive discovery. The SPARK program helped us take a confident step toward that vision.

Thanks again to the Worcester Business Journal for the coverage, and to the entire MBI community for making programs like this possible. We’re excited for what’s ahead!
